Xfinity Internet Speed Increase

Got an email from Xfinity yesterday that they have increased my Internet speed by 25%.  Haven't really noticed that it is any faster but it is nice to see that they are still investing in their network to make things faster.  According to the fine print my new download speed is 15 mbps.

I did a quick test on speedtest.net and it registered 16.17 Mbps.  So even better than they claim.

You'll always get bursts higher than what you're "paying for"... On FiOS, my down/up is 25Mbps/25Mbps, yet I've seen upload speeds at around 200Mpbs for small stretches. The same would be true for downloads...

Comcast quoted me 12/3 when i signed up, i nearly passed out when I heard that coming from 35/35 on FiOS. I'm getting 15/4 consistently and to be honest havent noticed any problems with netflix streaming HD content yet or anything, but downloads do take a whiles longer, grr comcast!!
